The component of the Board of Directors known as "Directors" is responsible for supervising, managing, and directing a company's operations. In addition to working as the company's agents in transactions, directors act as trustees for the assets and finances of the business. Biz Registration offers services and information related to the APPOINTMENT & RESIGNATION OF DIRECTORS.
The number of directors is set down in Section 149 of the 2013 Companies Act. A Private Limited Company must have a minimum of two directors. A company may name up to fifteen directors in total. A company may elect more than 15 directors without the consent of the federal government after passing a special resolution in a general meeting.
A director may be appointed or dismissed from the company at any time. The Articles of Association and Companies Act rules govern how and who can be nominated as a new director, even though the articles of incorporation should contain provisions permitting it.
