To register as a one-person company, you will need to possess personal knowledge of all the requirements. OPC is one of the simplest corporate entities to manage in India. The government fees for registering a One Person Company (OPC) in India are based on the company's nominal share capital. For instance, the government fees for OPC registration with a share capital of ₹ 100,000 are ₹2,000/-. In contrast, if the nominal share capital ranges from ₹ 10, 00,000 to ₹ 50, 00,000 - ₹ 2,000 per share will be added for every ₹ 10,000 or part thereof of nominal share capital.

To register, the following documents are mandatory.

• Passport or PAN card
• NRIs and foreign nationals must have a passport.
• Documentation of driver's license or voter identification,
• Scanned Gas or electricity bill/bank account statement/mobile or landline phone bill (that has been updated)
• Sample signature or impression
• Passport-size photograph
NOTE- • The OPC director needs to attest to the leading three documents.
• All documentation for a foreign citizen or NRI must be notarized (if they are currently residing in India or another Commonwealth country) or apostilled (if living in a commonwealth country at present).

Documents Required for the Registered Office

• Scan of a current bank account statement/phone or mobile bill/gas or electricity bill
• A scanned full statement of a rental agreement in English
• A scanned full text of the involved property landlord's no-objection certificate
• A property or sale deed that has been scanned and written in English (if the property is owned).

It should be NOTED that your registered office space must be a commercial establishment; however, it can also be the sole director's residence.
