CSR Registration
Biz Registration provides information and services relating to CSR registration. All NGOs must register with the central government by submitting Form CSR-1 in order to be eligible to receive CSR funding. After being verified by a Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), or Certified Management Accountant, this form is digitally signed and sent. This is carried out to keep tabs on national CSR spending.

CSR-1's significance:

• It improves the organization's reputation in the public eye
. • It increases the NGO's goodwill.
• CSR activities become less complicated
• The legal barriers to obtaining funds from corporations are lower.

Law concerning Form CSR 1:

According to Section 135 of the Companies Act of 2013 and the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules of 2014, E-Form CSR-1 must be submitted.

Criteria for submitting Form CSR 1:

• The NGO must be set up as a section 8 company registered under the Income Tax Act's sections 12A and 80G.
• The Director of a Section 8 Company, the Trustee of a Trust, and the Chairperson of a Society must digitally sign it.
• Additionally, a practicing cost accountant, practicing company secretary, or practicing chartered accountant must verify and certify it.

Documents Mandatory:

• NGO's PAN card copy
• Email and phone number
• Information about the members of the governing body
• Registration certificate
• 12A & 80G exemption certificate
• NGO Darpan ID
• The authorized person's digital signature along with their PAN

Attachments necessary:

• Company’s CSR policy, CSR report & sustainability report
• Information about the subsidiary(s) and/or other entity (s).
